About The CLINIC

The CTU-IWP Community Activism Law Clinic is an advice and community legal education clinic based in Chicago's southeast side. The clinic aims to educate community members on their legal rights, how to advocate for themselves, and provide legal services when a lawyer is necessary. All legal services, including full representation, are completely free of charge to clients. The clinic accepts clients dealing with criminal records, housing, immigration, and employment.

About the community partner

An immigrant run organization in southeast Chicago that educates immigrant workers on their employment and citizenship rights, combats wage theft, forges employer partnerships that promote improved working conditions and fair wages, advocate policy changes that benefit immigrant workers and their families, and develops leadership opportunities for members of the community.
