Legal permanent residents Sobhe and Nada sought out legal help with CALA to safely travel outside of the US and return without any problems. Thomas was arrested at a rally while exercising free speech and his right to protest. It was a challenge, but CALA staff attorneys managed to reduce Thomas’ charge from a felony to a misdemeanor. Back on his feet and continuing activist work, Thomas thanks CALA for everything they had done for him.
