CALA - Immigration Helpline

CALA provides a free helpline to any immigrant caller without access to an attorney. Every caller will receive a free immigration screening and legal consultation. The helpline operates both in English and Spanish and will be regularly checked every weekday. All calls will be returned for a free immigration screening within 7 days.

CALA - Know Your Rights Workshops

CALA provides Know Your Rights Workshops to its communities. These Workshops discuss what to do when you come in contact with immigration and police officers, current updates/changes to immigration law and policies, and also how to prepare 'emergency kits'  for families who may be at risk of deportation.

CALA - Emergency Family Planning Workshops

CALA also has Emergency Family Planning Workshops where the workshops are aimed toward immigrant families. Those who participate will be given the tools and resources to make an Emergency Family Planning Packet in order to be prepared for anything.

CALA - Community Legal Education Or Outreach Workshops

CALA's Community Legal Education programs are meant to teach an organization's members, staff, or community participants about their legal rights, the legal system and legal processes, or how to strategically engage with the law. CALA will work with you to develop a community legal education workshop that meets the particular needs of your organization and advances your broader social change goals.
