Juliet comes to CALA after many years of practicing law as an immigration attorney. She directed and taught in the political asylum and immigration clinics at Southern Methodist University School of Law and later joined the clinical faculty at the University of Colorado School of Law where she taught in the civil legal aid and immigration clinics.
Juliet began her legal career as a staff attorney with the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago (LAF) working in two neighborhood offices. She has worked in the Consumer Protection Division of the Illinois and Texas Attorney General offices and in legal aid programs in Michigan and Texas.
Juliet is a native of Chicago and grew up in the Cabrini Green housing project.
