Deborah Garrigus came to Beyond as a Supervising Attorney after spending 32 years as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Chicagoland area and four years in private practice. She was then promoted to Litigation Manager the following year. Deb has also volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem and Child Representative for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services as well as for the State of North Carolina since 2018. Deb graduated from John Marshall Law School in 1988 and has spent the majority of her career in public service. She is a passionate advocate for children and is happy to be working for an organization that works with other community partners to help improve the lives of the families they serve.
