Daniel Meyer

Daniel Meyer joined Beyond Legal Aid as the Supervising Immigration Attorney in January 2022. He brings over five (5) years of private practice experience as an Immigration Attorney to the organization, primarily in removal defense and representation in front of the U.S.C.I.S.

Daniel graduated from Pace University School of Law (now Elizabeth Haub Law School) in 2015 where he focused on Immigration Law and Environmental Law, receiving a Certificate of Environmental Law upon graduation. Serving internships with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Pace Land Use Law Center, Daniel developed a community-based approach toward the practice of law.

Previously, Daniel received a B.A in Political Science from West Chester University, where he was also a member of the Pre-Law Society.

With Beyond Legal Aid, Daniel looks forward to broadening his practice to incorporate the values of the greater communities of Chicago.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys playing softball and spending time with loved ones.
